We have developed skilled crews and outfitted them with the equipment needed to perform safe, quality, and efficient work. As a result, we can pass on savings to our clients by self-performing these trades ourselves. 

At Bast Hatfield,  we have constructed many Pre-Engineered metal buildings throughout our history. Today, this industry is thriving, and more retailers and commercial builders have adopted this building method. Most of our Pre-Engineered Building projects are Design Build type projects. 

Design/Build is also known as “single responsibility” contracting. It is a project delivery system that has become widely used. The Design/Build option is ideal for owners who want a single point of contact, taking full responsibility for the design, management and construction.  All the different aspects of the big picture, including all the bonding, costs, schedules, quality and management of the entire process, are the responsibility of the Design/Builder.

Bast Hatfield’s primary market sector is General Contracting, and in the past 30 years, the company has completed more than a billion dollars of General Contracting projects. This traditional approach to construction delivery initiates when an owner commissions a design professional - an architect or an engineer - to prepare drawings and specifications for a construction project. Then, a contractor is hired through competitive bidding or negotiation.
