Heavy paper rolls are a part of American Tissue operation, and normal concrete slab does not suffice for the long term. To accommodate the tons of paper and equipment, slab used at the American Tissue warehouse was 6”-8” thick, a full two inches thicker than normal slab. BHI was responsible for the slab work, as well as for the construction of this 100,000 square foot, pre-engineered steel structure.
